 Internazzionalle and Danish footballer Christian Eriksen collapsed shortly before half-time in Dennmarks opening Euro 2020 game against Finland. He had to be resuscitaded on the pitch and when he awoke in hospital he was fine and aware of what had happened, Eriksen thanked all his supporters around the globe and will not be playing in the rest of the Euros, he said that he will cheer on his Danish friends for the rest of the tournemant and will hope for the best fo his county and team-mates. The former Tottenham midfielder experienced a cardiac arrest and is now in a stable position in the Copenhagan hospital. The amazing midfielder said, " Big thanks for you sweet and amazing greetings and messages from all around the world, it means alot to me and my family. Boris Johnson should "publicly support" England footballer Marcus Rashford and his team mates in "taking the knee", former PM Gordon Brown has said.   He told the BBC that players were "bringing the whole country together" by adopting the pre-match gesture, with Black Lives Matter.   Mr Rashford said taking the knee - set to continue through England's Euro 2020 campaign – it was the "right thing to do".   But it has provoked booing from some parts of the crowd recently. Downing Street has persuaded fans to be" respectful" of the players' decision, but it has not condemned the supporters who jeered when England played Austria and   Romania in pre-tournament warm-up fixtures in Middlesbrough.   And education minister Gillian Keegan said taking the knee was "creating division", claiming Black Lives Matter urged in "defunding the police and the overthrow of capitalism".  

  It was an extremely exciting match between Novak Djokovic and Stefanos Tsitsipas.  Novak had just won against Nadal in a fabulous match. Novak was two sets behind and the crowd was shocked. There was some magnificent tennis played in the 2 sets. They were playing on clay court which made it hard as the players could slip easily. Sadly Tsitsipas slipped and injured his back and Novak took advantage. Novak started playing incredibly and won the next two. The game was level and Novak was confident and snatched the game for Stefanos. It was a nail-biter. After the game Stefanos congratulated Novak but said "He was complacent and should of won the game!"

 It was confirmed  on the 27th of May that Jonny Clayton got through to the playoffs after  8-6 win against  Welshman beat Dimitri Van den Bergh  in a sudden-death battle for the final spot in front of a sell out crowd of almost 1,000 in Milton Keynes. He was playing fantastic Darts.  "Tonight was an absolutely massive game, probably the biggest I've ever played in my life," said Clayton.  Clayton's semi-final opponent van Gerwen, who was already guaranteed to top the table for a record-equalling eighth time, also won his final game in the league stage, 8-6 against Peter Wright. This was a nail biter as it was very very close.

  The British Open will return to the World Snooker Tour for the first time in 17 years in August. The event, part of the tour from 1985 to 2004, was last staged in Brighton, when John Higgins won.  It will be the second world ranking event of the 2021-22 season and will run from 16 to 22 August.  "We are delighted to bring back the British Open which has a fantastic history", said WST Chairman Steve Dawson.  All 128 tour players will compete in the tournament, with further details - including the host venue and broadcasters - to be announced in due course. There are 19 WST events scheduled for the 2021-22 season, with discussions ongoing for several other potential tournaments.
