As the U.K is returning to normal after the lengthy lockdowns, people are happy to be able to see loved ones again that couldn't be seen during the lockdowns because of the rules in place. During these lockdowns, a fair amount of young people felt lonely because they couldn't see their family or friends. It could be a starting point for young people to get depression and feel down and not want to do anything because they miss loved ones. This can sometimes mean that all they wanted to do was see them, but they couldn't. Depression is a very unpleasant feeling as you could also want to be lazy and not put any effort into the things that you do. It could also make you very anxious or worried about little things because you are just thinking about it alone. One major thing that could give you depression is if a loved one died from coronavirus. It is good because it means that the U.K is further than another national lockdown that broke the economy.   Boris Johnson has expressed "full confidence" in Health Secretary Matt Hancock over claims he lied about protecting care homes from Covid. Dominic Cummings says Mr Hancock misled the PM in March 2020 by promising all residents discharged from hospital would be tested. The PM's former aide says this led to thousands of unnecessary deaths. Mr Hancock has denied lying but said he had been clear that it would take time to build testing capacity. "My recollection of events is that I committed to delivering that testing for people going from hospital into care homes when we could do it," he told a Downing Street press conference on Thursday. Eric Carle, the author of the children’s book The Very Hungry caterpillar, had died at the age of 91. The family said he died on Sunday at his summer studio in Northampton, Massachusetts. The book, published in 1969 was welcomed by parents and kids with its fun but also educational storyline. It has sold more than 50 million times. The story - which is only 224 words long – has also been translated into 62 languages. The author’s son has said Eric died of kidney failure.  It is a loss that will make many, many people very sad.

 'We've always been straight with people' says Hancock  The health secretary Matt  Hancock has told MPs that the government had always 'been straight with people'. These words are following a claim by Dominic Cummings, the former chief adviser of the PM, where he accuses Mr Hancock of lying to his colleagues about dealing with the virus in care homes.   The British Open will return to the World Snooker Tour for the first time in 17 years in August. The event, part of the tour from 1985 to 2004, was last staged in Brighton, when John Higgins won.  It will be the second world ranking event of the 2021-22 season and will run from 16 to 22 August.  "We are delighted to bring back the British Open which has a fantastic history", said WST Chairman Steve Dawson.  All 128 tour players will compete in the tournament, with further details - including the host venue and broadcasters - to be announced in due course. Selected celebrities will be given the chance to attend digital workshops in July and August, where they will work with established artists and mentors to develop their work, and be given a platform to perform their own work at digital showcases. Lady Leshurr, the British rapper, singer, songwriter, Radio 1 extra DJ, and producer, has been appointed as an ambassador for Words First 2021. She will provide guidance and mentoring for the finalists throughout the production. 1.  Glider (Plane) You Will Need: Coloured Card (You can use white card but it looks better) 1 Wooden Skewer Some Cardboardf Some Modelling Clay (About 20g will be fine) Step 1 Cut out some coloured card wings with scissors.  Make the first one 20cm long and the second one 15cm long.  These are just rough measures but you can make this as big or small as you want. The UK economy will experience its fastest growth in more than seventy years while corona virus lock down restrictions are being lifted according to the bank of England. The economy is expected to expand by 7.25% this year, if the government help people regain their jobs.  Andrew Bailey, the governor of the Bank of England added that the recovery of finance was “strong”. He assured the government that the surge in economy would bring it back to the original finance before the corona virus started.
