Mental Health Awareness

As the U.K is returning to normal after the lengthy lockdowns, people are happy to be able to see loved ones again that couldn't be seen during the lockdowns because of the rules in place. During these lockdowns, a fair amount of young people felt lonely because they couldn't see their family or friends. It could be a starting point for young people to get depression and feel down and not want to do anything because they miss loved ones. This can sometimes mean that all they wanted to do was see them, but they couldn't. Depression is a very unpleasant feeling as you could also want to be lazy and not put any effort into the things that you do. It could also make you very anxious or worried about little things because you are just thinking about it alone. One major thing that could give you depression is if a loved one died from coronavirus. If these happen, speak to a trusted adult or counsellor since sometimes just talking about a problem can make you feel better, but it can also give others an idea of what you are going through to try and help you get through it until it is better. Now that the lockdowns are ending and people can see family, it is nice to see your family again as it can give you more mental stability knowing they are okay.
