How you can turn a magnet into a compass

 What you will need:

~ A piece of string

~ A known bar magnet.

What you will need to do

Get the bar magnet and tie a knot with the string in the middle of it.

Make sure you aren't near any magnet objects and hold the string by the top and let the magnet go free.

REMEMBER! The blue side is north and the red side is south.

If you are lost and there is no water to follow, get a bar magnet and unless you have Velcro on your shoes you can be crafty and take a piece of string from your shoe, and there you go! You can now find your north from your south, and remember ~ NEVER EAT SHREDDED WHEAT!
