Lockdown rules easing

As the covid 19 vaccines are given to people, lockdown rules can ease and the country can return to normality again. It includes holidays abroad, seeing family you haven't seen for a long time watch a movie in a cinema or go to a restaurant and have a social dinner. This means that you can see your family or friends inside and not just outside. This means that you can meet up with more than one household other than your own unless you are isolating. Another topic that is spoken about is holidays, there are specific travel corridors, (this means that if you come from Iceland for example, you won’t have to isolate unless the test you do is positive). There are three tiers for travelling, red, amber and green. Red and amber mean that you have to take a test before the flight, book a quarantine hotel package which includes two covid 19 tests and complete a passenger locator form in case a test and trace finding shows that you have been in contact with someone who tested positive. Then, isolate alone for ten days, (children ages four and under do not have to take any of the tests after arrival). You then take a test on or before day two and after day eight of isolation. Only if they are both negative is then when you can leave your home or place you were isolating. If you have entered a red list area ten or fewer days before arrival in England, you must follow the same rules as if you came directly from there. There is then amber, every rule is the same including the fact that you shouldn’t travel to these countries. Finally, there is green, before the flight or journey, you must take a test, (children under or including the age of four do not need to take the test) and then only if that comes back positive will you need to isolate and take a day two test. You must quarantine if the test and trace inform you that you travelled to England with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19. If you have travelled to a country that is red or amber tiered, you must follow tier red rules.   The Nigerian government has said it will ban Twitter after the social media platform deleted a controversial tweet by the country’s president. But the time that the ban will start has not been shared with the public, with the announcement made on Twitter itself.   Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari posted a tweet on Tuesday which threatened suspected separatist militants in the southeast part of the country. Twitter deleted the post the day after, saying it was abusive.   The Nigerian Government announced the ban of the website on Friday. Twitter said it was investigating the banning of the platform in Nigeria.   The country’s information minister said the platform was banned because it was being used “for activities that are capable of undermining Nigeria’s corporate existence”.
