What was added in Minecraft Java 1.17?

 The latest Minecraft update, came out on June the 8th.  It was 1.17, the caves and cliffs update.  Now I'm going to tell you what was added.

1.  Amethyst Crystals

You can find these in caves only.  You can find these at level 70 or below.  With amethyst crystals, you can craft spyglasses.

2.  Copper

As it's the caves and cliffs update, Mojang had to add new ores.  With Copper, you can craft spyglasses, blocks of copper, and lightning rods.

3.  Calcite

Another cave block, like granite or diorite.  They can be found in amethyst clusters.

4.  Candle

You can die these in 16 different colours, and place them on cakes.  You can craft these with one string and one honeycomb.  You can light them with a flint and steel

5.  You can now waterlog rails, to make underwater roller coasters.

6.  Pufferfish

This is a small fix, but pufferfish now only do 2 seconds of poison, not 4.

7.  Suspicious Stew

Most of us will know that we can craft suspicious stew.  But in 1.17, you can now add different flowers, to make the potion affects controlled.

8.  How to farm Copper

Copper has been added, and the community have tried to make a way to farm it.  Now, from drowned, we can get the chance of a copper ingot to drop from them.

9.  Fire Aspect Swords

In 1.17, if we kill a zombie or husk, and it happens to drop a potato (this has to be with a fire aspect sword) it will actually drop as baked potato, giving us a much better food source.

10.  Goats

You can milk these, just like cows, and they can drop goats' horns.

11.  Axolotls

These are new mobs that spawn in caves near water.  The don't drop anything, but they are quite nice to have as a pet.

12.  New Minecraft Boss

This new boss is called the warden.  It has 85 health, and can 2 hit you in full netherite amour.
